A Favorite Shot From 2012

I love the idea of dramatic and ethereal maternity photos.  I am not sure I have seen a simple length of blue satin look quite so stunning.  Jessica was a fabulous client, just gorgeous all through her pregnancy and very easy to work with.  I was thrilled to do her maternity session!  Her little guy was absolutely adorable and his session went great too.  It was pretty tough to select just one image because I was blessed with so many wonderful clients this year.  This photo has to be among my top favorites though so I decided to submit it to www.rocktheshotforum.com  as part of their January photo challenge.  No actions were used, just the smudge tool, some masking, and some dodging and burning to accent the highlights and shadows in the fabric.
