You don't know what you don't know. The purpose of a childbirth class is to ensure that you have all the information you need to make the best choices for you and your family. I've spent over a decade in birth work and I truly love helping parents get ready to meet their babies. My goal is to help you understand your options, address any concerns with your provider, recognize potential red flags, and to feel confident in the choices you make for yourself and your baby. Through the 6-week course we will cover birth preparation, interventions, phases of labor, coping in labor, the postpartum stage, and more. By the end of the course you and your partner or birth coach should feel confident and prepared for your baby's arrival. Whether your goal is to give birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home, if you are planning an unmedicated birth, a planned cesarean, or a medicated birth, this course offers insight and a positive perspective.
