You don't know what you don't know. The purpose of a childbirth class is to ensure that you have all the information you need to make the best choices for you and your family. I've spent over a decade in birth work and I truly love helping parents get ready to meet their babies. My goal is to help you understand your options, address any concerns with your provider, recognize potential red flags, and to feel confident in the choices you make for yourself and your baby. Through the 6-week course we will cover birth preparation, interventions, phases of labor, coping in labor, the postpartum stage, and more. By the end of the course you and your partner or birth coach should feel confident and prepared for your baby's arrival. Whether your goal is to give birth in a hospital, birth center, or at home, if you are planning an unmedicated birth, a planned cesarean, or a medicated birth, this course offers insight and a positive perspective. Childbirth Education - $250-$350

Childbirth classes are offered in a group setting in my office for $300, or couples may choose to book classes in home for $350* + travel for addresses beyond 25 miles from my office. Couples that have booked my doula or birth photography services may add childbirth classes for $250 in-office, or $300* in-home.

Classes meet weekly for 6 weeks, and are approximately 1.5-2 hrs, allowing for time to absorb information and explore questions. The course focuses on physiological birth, understanding the labor and birth process, interventions, preparation, baby care, and postpartum planning. Classes are in-person, but virtual options available for extenuating circumstances. Please reach out for more information!
