Having a new baby in the home can be tough. You're sleep deprived and trying to figure out how to nurture yourself as well as your child. A postpartum doula can help you bridge that gap. Many new parents have partners that go back to work early, or just don't have a lot of local support, especially at night or in the middle of the workday. A postpartum doula can help look after your little one overnight so you can get some restful sleep. You can opt for a day shift so you can shower, nap, spend some one-on-one time with your other littles, or just read a book and veg out for a bit. Even if you're breastfeeding, we can make a plan that enables you to get as much rest as possible without threatening your milk supply. Sometimes something as simple as having someone to talk to that really understands what it's like taking care of a brand new baby can make all the difference. Postpartum doulas can help with some of the baby chores like washing a load of bottles you just didn't get to that day, or folding the load of baby clothes that you hit "dry" on before heading to bed. Let's get together and talk about how I can make those first few weeks as easy as possible!
