Every year this family plans a big combined Easter egg hunt and birthday party. This particular year, they decided to take advantage of everyone gathering together to announce the gender of the newest family member... as an added twist, the mother-to-be's sister found out she was also expecting not long before the party was set to take place, so they decided to announce her pregnancy to the family at the same time as an extra special surprise! This is the birth story of a rainbow baby. She was born on the same day one year after her parents lost her sister to miscarriage. It's a beautiful story about a promise from God and this family's willingness to trust Him. Capture the miracle of your baby's first moments!
Beautiful & fast home birth of much anticipated team-green baby! This was a fun birth. It was baby #5 & the family had been through some difficult times recently. This baby felt like a new beginning for them all. Momma had a history of fast labors, so she was hesitant to book a birth story at first but decided to take a chance. One day I was doing Santa minis & she called me. "I'm going to feel dumb if it is nothing... but I feel different today." I asked her if she wanted me to come and she said she didn't know, so I told her to keep me posted & got back to work. I shot for about 5 more minutes before deciding that I needed to head her way. She lived about 40 minutes from me and her labors were often right around an hour if that. I would rather be there for nothing that not go for something! About 20 minutes into my drive she called me again & said "definitely something is happening, Just had some bloody show". I let her know I was already halfway there. Want to know how fast things unfolded? Check out the time stamps I included in the film. Enjoy! Allow us to capture every detail of your baby’s birth
This is a mini-documentary telling the story of a couple that elected to build their family through surrogacy. They made such a bond with the surrogate that carried their firstborn that it was mutually decided that she would carry for them a second time... and finally for one last pregnancy journey. The final pregnancy depicted is followed from embryo transfer through the birth. You may need a tissue! Do you want to capture the moment you meet your baby? Beautiful precipitous birth of a sweet little brother. Let our lens tell your birth story!
Gah! Are these kiddos cute or what?! This sweet family wanted some portraits of their kids done at their new home, so we headed out one brisk morning to do just that. There was some gorgeous light out, which was a blessing since you never can tell with San Antonio weather! It's been a busy season around here! I have some catching up to do, so get ready to see some beautiful babies and fun families over the next couple of weeks! First of all, I'm going to start with pretty little Paisley! Isn't she just a doll? Her momma brought in a sweet little crochet dress that one of her family members made for her. I love it when families bring in outfits or props that are meaningful to them. I'm sure these images will be cherished for a lifetime! Oh my goodness, what a cutie! Another strapping boy for this family, and dad summed it up perfectly during the session as we were getting the boys ready for a shot and he said "My three sons". :) I love capturing these special moments, and I enjoy hearing a little bit of the background stories too! It's always fun to learn how these precious little ones were so very wanted before they ever entered the world. I can't wait to work with this fun family again! Let them eat cake... and smash it... and smear it... and wear it! Cake smashes are SO much fun, and Peyton was lovin' it! Check out that strawberry blond hair and those incredible eyes! What a sweetie! Her momma brought in the most adorable little shirt from X's and Bows, a cute pink and green number by CuteNspoiled, and a yummy cake from Elicia Banks over at Sweet Indulgence SA. We had a ton of messy fun! Earlier this month I got to play with 6 month old Lukas, and his cousin, 12 month old Maggie. Maggie was visiting for just a few days, and I was honored that they decided to spend a little time with me during their stay. :) They were both such sweeties, and there were smiles all around, especially when we brought out my tin! I think we all had fun. Aren't they just to-die-for-cute?!?! |
